Branding refresh / Website

AJ Marketing is a Melbourne-based agency specialising in strategic campaigns, events, and brand communications for clients across Melbourne and Brisbane.
As lead designer, I worked closely with the AJ Marketing Director through collaborative strategy sessions to define a sharper creative direction. From there, I designed and prototyped the new website in Figma, built it in Squarespace, and developed a complete brand toolkit, including report templates, presentation decks, a services brochure, and event and social media assets. The refresh introduced a more confident colour system, shifting the brand toward charcoal as the foundation and using violet as a focused accent.

Setup
Before any design work began, we needed to agree on the direction. A series of Figma prototype sessions shaped the website direction, with each iteration tightening the visual language and pushing the design closer to something the team could get genuinely excited about. The colour shift was central to everything: charcoal as the anchor, violet as the accent rather than the hero.
This refresh touched every corner of the brand. I prototyped the website in Figma, refined it through team discussions, then built and implemented it directly in Squarespace, keeping the handoff clean and the final product true to the design. The branding pack went further than a logo update, new report and presentation templates gave the team polished, on-brand assets they could use right away. I designed a book-style brochure to showcase their services, plus event and social media visuals that gave AJ Marketing a consistent presence everywhere.

The result
AJ Marketing came away with a refreshed identity, a live Squarespace website, and a complete suite of brand assets. The new direction gave the team a stronger, more distinctive presence, one that the director, team, and clients described as confident, memorable, and full of personality.
